Adult Upgrading

We currently offer three programs for adults who want to improve their educational skills through the Nova Scotia School of Adult Learning. Adult learners should be 19 years or older and out of school for at least a year. However, exceptions can be made on an individual basis.

Adult Learning and Training

  • preparation to achieve a high school equivalency by passing General Educational Development (GED) tests in the areas of math, English writing and grammar, English reading, social studies and science
  • classroom instruction weekdays, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm in Antigonish
  • one-on-one sessions on a flexible schedule

  • specific skill and subject development

Literacy and Numeracy
